{"id":1372,"date":"2018-05-12T01:38:12","date_gmt":"2018-05-12T01:38:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/munstervintage.com\/wordpress\/?p=1372"},"modified":"2018-05-12T01:40:50","modified_gmt":"2018-05-12T01:40:50","slug":"cork-veteran-run-2018-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/munstervintage.com\/wordpress\/?p=1372","title":{"rendered":"Cork Veteran Run 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Saturday 21st July\u00a02018\u00a0the Munster Vintage Motor Cycle and Car Club, with Clerk of the Course Alan Cavanagh, are\u00a0holding the\u00a0<strong>63rd\u00a0Cork\u00a0Veteran\u00a0Run<\/strong>.\u00a0 The first event took place in 1956 and the event has been\u00a0run\u00a0every year since then.<\/p>\n<p>There will be\u00a0two routes, a relatively short\u00a0run\u00a0of approximately 70 miles, with an optional longer\u00a0run\u00a0for those who prefer a greater distance. Both will go to the same lunch halt and finish.<\/p>\n<p>Entrants are\u00a0also free to combine the long morning run with the short afternoon run, or\u00a0vice versa, if they prefer a shorter overall route.<\/p>\n<p>The club are grateful to <em><strong>Keary\u2019s BMW, Little Island,\u00a0Cork<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0who are providing sponsorship\u00a0again for this year\u2019s event. The start will be from <em><strong>Keary\u2019s BMW, Little Island<\/strong><\/em> and the lunch halt will be at the Springfort Hall Hotel. The finish and prizegiving will be at The Brook Inn, Sallybrook, which is near the start.<\/p>\n<p>Eligible vehicles will be any mechanically propelled vehicle manufactured prior to 31\/12\/1977 (with invitees to 31\/12\/1987 or other suitable vehicles at the discretion of the Organisers).<\/p>\n<p>The Entry Fee will be \u20ac20.\u00a0 Full details are included in the Entry Form and Regulations (see links below) for the event.
