On Saturday 20th July\u00a02019,\u00a0the Munster Vintage Motor Cycle and Car Club are\u00a0holding the\u00a064th\u00a0Cork\u00a0Veteran\u00a0Run, the first event took place in 1956 and the event has been\u00a0run\u00a0every year since then.<\/p>\n
There will be\u00a0two routes, a short\u00a0run\u00a0of approximately 50 miles, with an optional longer\u00a0run\u00a0of 80 miles for those who prefer a greater distance. Both will go to the same lunch halt and finish.\u00a0 Entrants are\u00a0also free to combine the long morning run with the short afternoon run, or\u00a0vice versa, if they prefer a shorter overall route.<\/p>\n
The club are grateful to Kearys BMW, Little Island,\u00a0Cork\u00a0who are providing sponsorship\u00a0again for this year\u2019s event. The start will be from Kearys BMW, Little Island and the lunch halt will be at the Garryvoe Hotel. The finish and prizegiving will be at The Brook Inn, Sallybrook, which is near the start.<\/p>\n
Eligible vehicles will be any mechanically propelled vehicle manufactured prior to 31\/12\/1978 (with invitees to 31\/12\/1988, or other suitable vehicles at the discretion of the Organisers).\u00a0The Entry Fee will be \u20ac20 (including a Temporary Club Membership Fee of \u20ac1 for non MVMCCC members).<\/p>\n
