Hope everybody is bearing up in the current circumstances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apologies for the short notice, but if you have time, please consider submitting to the below FIVA  survey.  Responses to be submitted before 21 Oct<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From IVVCC; One of the most important issues that all classic\u00a0car owners want to ensure is the freedom to use our vehicles on the public road.\u00a0The IVVCC\u00a0does this by representing the interests of our members and the members of Affiliated\u00a0Clubs. In order to do this effectively we need to be armed with relevant statistics\u00a0on our cars, the mileage they cover, the contribution they make to the economy etc. Our cars are owned by a wide range of citizens\u00a0of all ages and we need to demonstrate this to the decision makers in Government and in the EU.\u00a0

FIVA\u00a0(Federation Internationale des Vehicules Anciens) are conducting a worldwide survey of Historic vehicles\u00a0Worldwide through the Federation Internationale des Vehicules Anciens (FIVA).\u00a0 The IVVCC represents FIVA in Ireland. The survey is focused on all vehicles manufactured in 1990 or before, i.e. vehicles that are 30 years old or more.\u00a0 \u00a0

Spreading the word of the FIVA survey to all our fellow club and classic car owners\u00a0will ensure\u00a0the success of the survey. The survey can take as little as 10 minutes or longer depending on the number of vehicles you have to enter details on.\u00a0

Many of our members have already taken the survey but we need more of you to take the survey to gather better information on the importance of our vehicles and the contribution we make to preserving history, culture and indeed the enjoyment we bring to thousands, both young and old.

The closing date for completing the survey has been extended to 21st October.\u00a0 You can complete\u00a0the survey\u00a0by clicking on the link\u00a0below or copying and pasting it into your Internet Browser.\u00a0 Alternatively, you can go to the\u00a0www.ivvcc.ie<\/a>\u00a0website and click on the Green FIVA button on the Home Page which will bring you directly to the survey.

Interestingly, to date – 90 surveys have been completed in Ireland; 274 in the UK; 4687 in Belgium; 6456 in France; 2474 in Germany, 2147 in Netherlands and 1246 in Denmark.\u00a0 By completing the survey it would be great to move Ireland up further in the rankings!!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
