RSA Proposals on testing of Historical Vehicles<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The RSA have published a consultation document and have asked for comments\/ feedback on the options they are considering by Nov 14<\/span>th<\/span> next. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Submissions will be accepted in a prescribed format either online, by email or by post but must be received before Nov 14<\/span>th<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The various options will be discussed at our November Monthly meeting on Nov 4<\/span>th<\/span>. All members are asked to attend the meeting when the Clubs submission will be agreed. We hope that members will also submit their own replies to the RSA as the proposals will have a major impact on the future of our hobby.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Friday Nov 14th       Vienna Woods Hotel  Glanmire Co Cork   8.30pm<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Arthur Jolley will give an illustrated talk on his involvement in and observations of the competitive motoring scene, both at home and abroad on bikes and cars since the early 50’s. He navigated Cecil Vard on 10 Monte Carlo Rallies between 1951 and 1961, being on the successful Works Jaguar Team for ‘54,’55 & ’56 and moving to Simcas  in 58. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

All are welcome, Free entry and open to non Club members<\/span>. Finger food & refreshments after the talk.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

New Years Day 2015<\/span><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

The start venue is on the left of the entrance to Douglas Court Shopping Centre. We will congregate from 10.30am and proceed to Roberts Cove Inn where soup and sandwiches will be served, followed by the usual collection for Marymount Hospice.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Our Membership Secretary has asked me to remind those of you, who have not yet paid your sub for 2014 that your membership will lapse on 31 Dec next.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

He is also available to take 2015 Subs. Renewal sub, €20, can be given to Morgan O’Regan or can be posted to him at Gleann na Gealt, Ballyfouloo, Monkstown, Co, Cork.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
