Due to the ongoing Covid 19 situation, the Munster Vintage Motor Cycle and Car Club have decided to cancel Inchigeelagh Motorcycle Rally again this year. The decision was made in the public interest, the travel and hospitality restrictions and the social distancing requirements which are likely to be in place for the foreseeable future. Put the weekend of 8th & 9th of May in your calendar for next year. We are hopeful that things will be back to normal and we will be able to hold our event by then.
Dear Fellow Motoring Enthusiast
I am writing to advise you that Munster Vintage Motor Cycle and Car Club have decided to cancel the Cork Veteran Run again this year, in view of the ongoing Covid 19 situation, the travel and hospitality restrictions and the social distancing requirements which are likely to be in place for the foreseeable future.
We hope that 2022 will be the year when we can all get back to normal and enjoy our cars and motorcycles to the full again – the Cork Veteran Run will be on Saturday 16th July 2022, and we hope to see you all there.
Padraig Murray attended this event in April, 1988 and has managed to dig up some pictures from the event. The event was run by the Munster Motor Cycle & Car Club and held at the City Hall in Cork. The club thanks Padraig for permission to use the pictures.
You can see them here.
Covid 19 causes another cancellation for the club.
