The 62nd Cork Veteran Run – Saturday 15th July.

This Saturday's event is the 62nd Cork Veteran Run, the first Run took place in 1956 and the event has been held every year since then. Came across this on the Youghalonline Facebook page.  It's from the 1961 Cork Veteran Run and, rumour has it, that it features a young(ish) Chris O Mahony in T 1792.  . Film is from Bobby Chapple home movie.

62nd Cork Veteran Run

On Saturday 15th July 2017 the Munster Vintage Motor Cycle and Car Club are holding the 62nd Cork Veteran Run, the first event took place in 1956 and the event has been run every year since then.  There will be two routes, a relatively short run of approximately 55 miles and a longer run of 90 miles, for those who prefer a greater distance. CoC Alan Cavanagh tells us thet the 2017 Cork Veteran Run, the 62nd event, takes place on Saturday 15th July 2017. Organised by The Munster Vintage Motor Cycle & Car Club, the start will be from Kearys BMW, Little Island, Co Cork again this year and the lunch halt will be at The Garryvoe Hotel.
