The club was contacted by Conor Sweetman during the summer when researching the Cork Grand Prix for a radio programme he was making for RTE1. Conor was assisted by Alan Cavanagh, who had done extensive research in 2013 for the 75th anniversary of the 1938 Cork Grand Prix.
It will be broadcast this Sunday (Nov 14) on the History Show at 6pm, and will be released as a podcast the following week.
