On Saturday 21st July 2018 the Munster Vintage Motor Cycle and Car Club, with Clerk of the Course Alan Cavanagh, are holding the 63rd Cork Veteran Run. The first event took place in 1956 and the event has been run every year since then.
There will be two routes, a relatively short run of approximately 70 miles, with an optional longer run for those who prefer a greater distance. Both will go to the same lunch halt and finish.
Entrants are also free to combine the long morning run with the short afternoon run, or vice versa, if they prefer a shorter overall route.
The club are grateful to Keary’s BMW, Little Island, Cork who are providing sponsorship again for this year’s event. The start will be from Keary’s BMW, Little Island and the lunch halt will be at the Springfort Hall Hotel. The finish and prizegiving will be at The Brook Inn, Sallybrook, which is near the start.
Eligible vehicles will be any mechanically propelled vehicle manufactured prior to 31/12/1977 (with invitees to 31/12/1987 or other suitable vehicles at the discretion of the Organisers).
The Entry Fee will be €20. Full details are included in the Entry Form and Regulations (see links below) for the event. We hope you will be able to enter!
