Thank you to all entrants for entering the recent 65th Cork Veteran Run on Saturday 16th July to Lismore. The club were delighted to be back on the road again after two years when the run could not take place and we hope you enjoyed the event. The weather was fantastic and the welcome we received at Keary’s BMW, and The Brook Inn, made it a most enjoyable day. We were delighted with the entry of 64 cars, 40 motorcycles and the fabulous 1936 Leyland Fire Engine brought along by the O’Halloran family. The oldest car was Alan Wilson’s rare 1909 Minerva and we had cars from every decade up to the 1990s. The oldest motorcycle was John Quirke’s lovely 1913 Triumph and every decade was represented except for the 1920s. Thank you all again, especially those who travelled long distances.

John O’Toole and Brian O’Connell had the cameras at the ready on the day and their photographs can be viewed here.
