On Saturday 20th July 2024 the Munster Vintage Motor Cycle and Car Club are holding the 67th Cork Veteran Run.
The Start location this year will be Coffee Corner, Eastgate Avenue, Little Island, Co Cork, Eircode T45XR67 (this is the same location as last year). The lunch halt will be at Rosies Bar & Restaurant, Aghada and the finish will again be at The Brook Inn, Sallybrook, which is near the start. The total distance will be approximately 75 miles.
Awards will be presented for Oldest Car, Oldest Motorcycle, Best Car, Best Motorcycle & Best Pre-War Ford. The event will be held under Irish Vintage Society permit/insurance and Eligible Vehicles will be any mechanically propelled vehicle manufactured up to and including 1993. Please note to comply with the Permit/Insurance Regulations the 1993 cut-off date must be strictly adhered to. Please comply with this or your entry will be refused.
MVMCCC Membership and IVS Insurance
One of the conditions of the IVS Insurance is that MVMCCC members are also members of IVS.
If you are a paid up member of the Munster Vintage Motor Cycle & Car Club and intend participating in this year’s Cork Veteran Run, you must inform us before Friday 12th July. If you are not already registered with IVS we will then forward your name to the IVS for registration. This cannot be done on the day of the event.
Non MVMCCC members are deemed to be visitors, IVS registration is not required
Full details are included in the Entry Form and Regulations for the event, available for download below. The Entry Fee will be €20. Please send in your entry form early so that we can include your car or motorcycle in the programme.
This year we will again have a Free Draw for those who send in a fully paid entry by FRIDAY 12th JULY – the first three numbers drawn will receive a full refund of their entry fee at check-in at the start of the run.
