With a closing date of July 10th, the Entry Forms for the 60th Cork Veteran Run are available to download from The 60th Cork Veteran Run 2015 entry form (AC 26 May).
This year we are celebrating the 60th Cork Veteran Run, the first event took place in 1956 and the event has been run every year since then. We intend to make this an event to remember and hope you will be able to enter. We are hoping to have a number of the cars and motorcycles which were on the early Cork Veteran Runs and there will be two routes, a relatively short run of approximately 60 miles for those with very early vehicles and a longer run of about 85 miles for those who are happy with that distance. You can choose either route, they will both go to the lunch halt at Lismore and to the same finish. This year’s run will start at Keary’s BMW, Eastgate, Little Island, Co. Cork (Sat Nav – 51º 54.29 W8º 21.42). Check-in opens at 9.30am, where tea & coffee will be available. The run starts at 11am. Lunch will be available at Lismore House Hotel at €15 each including tea/coffee Depending on the level of interest, we may arrange an evening meal on the Saturday night and a short run on Sunday morning. For the convenience of ‘away’ entrants a listing of Accommodation convenient to the Start / Finish will be available. Participants are responsible for arranging their own accommodation and paying for their meals.
Concours awards will be judged and voted on by you the entrants and will be given out at prizegiving at the finish (Location convenient / near to the morning Start). A Voting slip will be included with the route sheet and should be filled in at the lunch halt. The event will be held under Motorsport Ireland Permit No: 15/xxxxx./V&V (Applied for)
