The club would like to thank all entrants on our 67th Cork Veteran Run on Saturday 20th July. We hope you enjoyed the event.

The weather was better than forecasted and the welcome we received at our starting venue Coffee Corner in Little Island, the lunch halt at Rosies Bar & Restaurant, Aghada and the finish at The Brook Inn, made it a very enjoyable day. Despite the forecast we had an entry of  35 cars, 20 motorcycles, and once again the fabulous 1936 Leyland Fire Engine brought along by Noel and Bryan O’Halloran.

Thank you all again especially those who travelled long distances – and those who came on motorcycles and in open cars.

The Oldest Car award  was presented to Derek Wilson in his 1910 Wolseley and The Oldest Motorcycle award went to John Quirke with his 1919 Triumph Model H.

The Best Car award was presented to Johnny Greene in his 1971 Mercedes W108 and the Best Motorcycle award was given to Patrick Rowe on his 1932 OK Supreme B31.

The award for Best Pre-War Ford was presented to Morgan O’Regan in his 1928 Ford Model A.
