On Saturday 18th July 2015 we are celebrating the 60th Cork Veteran Run, the first event took place in 1956 and the event has been run every year since then. The club intend to make this an event to remember and are hoping to have a number of the cars and motorcycles which were on the early Cork Veteran Runs. There will be two routes, a relatively short run for those with very early vehicles and a longer run of about 80 miles for those who are happy with that distance.

The club are grateful to Kearys BMW, Little Island, Cork who are providing sponsorship for this years event.

Eligible vehicles will be any mechanically propelled vehicle manufactured prior to 31/12/1975 (Invitees to 31/12/1984 or other suitable vehicles at the discretion of the Organisers).

The Entry Fee will be €20 for entries received on or before Friday 10th July 2015 and €25 thereafter. Entry will be FREE for any car or motorcycle which was entered in an early Cork Veteran Run, up to and including the 1980 event.

Munster Vintage Motor Cycle and Car Club hope to mark this occasion with a fuller Programme than that usually  produced and appeal for photos / details of vehicles which took part in the early years or any reminisences you may have on the early Cork Runs.
